Terms & Conditions - Lets Dance Carinda Tribute Festival 2023

 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability of any nature for any injury, damage, loss, delay or additional expenses which are incurred at or in association with this Event. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty which cannot be excluded or modified, that condition or warranty will be deemed to be included in this agreement. However, our liability for any breach of such condition or warranty will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary or special damages.

  • Admission is at the attendee’s own risk. You acknowledge that neither we nor any venue or trade provider at the event will be responsible for any loss or damage to property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the Event by you or your invitees.

  • You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the Event by you or your invitees.

  • You must ensure that you and your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the Event. We may refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if they are behaving in an intoxicated, disorderly, offensive, threatening or inappropriate manner, towards any person.

  • The Event is open to all ages. Children under the age of 18 years that attend the Event must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Children who behave in a disorderly, disruptive or inappropriate manner may at the sole discretion of the Event organisers be required to leave.

  • We reserve the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute exhibitors and/or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.

  • We reserve the right at any time, to change the venue and date of the Event. In the event of a change, we will publish details on our website and social media accounts.

  • The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the agreement of the Lets Dance Carinda Committee.

  • It may be a condition of entry to the Event that a search of your person and/or your possessions and motor vehicles is required at the time of entry to the venue. GLASS, ALCOHOL, WEAPONS, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES or any item the Event organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner may be confiscated. Refusal to consent to a search WILL prevent entry to the Event, without refund.

  • Entry is at own risk and the right to refuse entry is reserved. The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering on the site – to the extent allowed by the law. All bags/containers will be subject to a full search. The festival is licensed – don’t bring alcohol with you – any prohibited items found will be confiscated and not returned.

  • The whole venue is a GLASS FREE ZONE and no glass shall be brought into any part of the venue. Please do not bring glass into the Event, broken glass and event do not mix, consider your fellow humans feet.

  • Some parts of the event will have licenced operators selling alcohol. Any patron wishing to consume alcohol must have photographic ID. We reserve the right to evict patrons who disobey or break Responsible Service of Alcohol NSW legislation and the law.

  • Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the Event and will face criminal charges.

  • Anyone found supplying or consuming illicit drugs will be evicted from the premises and face criminal charges.

  • Certain areas within the Event venue may be smoke free zones. Smoking will not be permitted within the confines of these specific areas at the venue.

  • Sealed plastic water bottles are permitted to be brought into the Event. The contents of any opened plastic water bottles will not be permitted into the venue.

  • Trading signs or other signs are not permitted without prior consent.

  • Footwear must be worn at all times on the site.

  • Animals are not permitted, except in accordance with legislation.

  • Fires and fireworks are not permitted.

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales

  • Any breach of any of these terms and conditions will entitle the Event organisers to evict offenders without any form of compensation.  

  • The Lets Dance Carinda committee cares for the environment and community. Please be respectful and place any litter in the bins provided around the venue. Be waste and water wise – thank you.

  • Please respect the venue and neighbours and do not create excessive noise or litter while travelling to and from the Event.

  • Lets Dance Carinda Festival is an all-weather event and will proceed rain, hail or shine. You should assume a show is proceeding unless advised otherwise by organiser or trybooking.

  • Should wet or unfavourable weather be forecast please ensure you come prepared. However, umbrellas are not permitted into the venue.

  • This event will only be cancelled or postponed if the site becomes unsafe for patrons, performers and staff.

  • In the very unlikely situation that the event is cancelled or postponed the ticket purchaser will be notified by text message and email. Please also check for updates on the Lets Dance Carinda Festival (Organiser's) Facebook page.

  • Please be aware that this event is held outdoors and is open to the elements. Grass, gravel and uneven surfaces may be found on the site. If you require any assistance please ask one of our friendly staff or security.

 

NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE ON ANY TICKET will be given except required by law. This is an all-weather event and you will not be entitled to a refund if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather. A change in personal circumstances of the Ticket Buyer does not entitle the return or exchange of tickets or any other form of refund.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, tickets for the Event will not be refunded except under the following circumstances ONLY:

  • Adverse weather conditions beyond the Organiser's control which prevents the Ticket Buyer from accessing the Event due to closure of ALL access roads to the Event; or

  • Adverse weather conditions beyond the control of the Organiser which prevents the Event from taking place. This includes adverse conditions in the 7 day lead up to the Event which makes the venue unsuitable for holding the Event in the circumstances where the Event cannot be moved to another venue.

  • Restrictions imposed by the New South Wales Government due to Covid-19 that leads to the cancellation of the event

  • If the New South Wales border is closed due to Covid-19 and you are unable to attend the event, as you need to travel from interstate.

  • If the New South Wales border is open and you are able to travel to the event, no refunds are available.

  • If a state border other than NSW is closed and prevents you from travelling to the event or returning to your home state from the event, we will offer a replacement ticket for the following event.

  • Refunds will not be provided under any other circumstances, including but not limited to change of venue changes in the line-up or for any other reason. For the avoidance of doubt, where one or more access roads to the Event venue are open and allow for access to the Event, no refunds will be given.

NOTE: Viagogo is not an authorised seller and their tickets are not guaranteed.  Tickets purchased through eBay, Gumtree and from other people are similarly not guaranteed.
